BRAIN FRIENDLY FOOD
1. Eat whole foods- grains, lentils, beans, nuts, seeds, fresh fruit and vegetables
2. Avoid refined white overcooked food.
3. Eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables daily
4. Eat 4 or more servings a day of whole grains- brown rice, quinoa, basmati rice, brown rice
5. Avoid any form of sugar, and foods with added sugar
6. Combine proteins with carbohydrates – eat cereals and fruits with nuts and seeds. Potatoes, pasta, bread, rice, with fish, lentils, beans, and tofu.
7. Eat cold water fish, wild Salmon, fresh sardines, herring, mackerel, 3 times a week
8. Eat eggs, preferably free range.
9. Eat seeds and nuts- flax, hemp, pumpkin, sunflower and sesame.
10. Use cold pressed seed-oil, containing, hemp or flax seed for salad dressings.
11. Cut out fried food, processed food and saturated fats from meat and dairy.

BRAIN FRIENDLY SUPPLEMENTS
The brain uses a third of all nutrients taken from your food. Taking supplements daily will ensure tip top nutrition for mind and body.
1. A multi vitamin with at least 25mg of B vitamins and 10mg of B12, 100mg folic acid, 200mg magnesium, 3 mg manganese, 10 mg zinc.
